What's a VIN, and how can I find it?

A Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique 17-character code that acts as your car’s fingerprint. It contains essential information about your vehicle, such as its make, model, year, and specific features.

An example of a VIN might look like this: 1HGCM82633A123456.

When replacing car keys, the VIN allows locksmiths to identify the exact key type or programming needed for your vehicle. By providing your VIN, we can ensure a precise match, saving you time and ensuring your replacement key works seamlessly.
